The ECC Operations staff has four shifts – two day shifts and two night shifts – of 5-7

employees each. Minimum daytime staffing is six employees – four dispatcher/call-takers, one shift supervisor and one assistant supervisor. Minimum nighttime staffing is five employees – three dispatcher/call-takers, one assistant supervisor and one supervisor.

The ECC schedule follows a two-week rotation, for a total of seven 12-hour shifts in each pay period (three days one week, four the next).

Each employee works every-other calendar weekend, allowing employees to take every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Employees also have 2 two-day “weekends” off during a pay period.
